The 1 hour classes I teach are based on slow-flow hatha yoga, a mindful and nurturing practice that works on the physical postures (asanas) to develop strength and flexibility, with a strong focus on breathing exercises (pranayama) to help to induce clarity of thought, tranquility and concentration.
In class, my hope is that my students step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced. In the long run, my aim is to let them find a balance between strength and softness, effort and ease and to offer yoga as a life-long path of personal discovery, leading to healing, good health and happiness.
